Weed Me offers dried whole flower, pre-rolls, feminized seeds, auto-flowering seeds, clones, and will offer oils and vapes in the near future.

Your medical document must be obtained from a licensed Health Care practitioner (a medical doctor or  a nurse-practitioner). If you require a referral to a Health Care Practitioner please call our knowledgeable Customer Care Team at 866-410-4040 and they will assist you.

Complete a registration application and then have your Health Care Practitioner send in your medical document via secure fax. If you have the original document, please send it by regular mail to: PO Box 66010, Town Centre, Pickering, ON L1V 6P7.

Once your medical document has expired, you will need to go back to your Health Care Practitioner and have a new one issued. Once Weed Me has received your new medical document, you will receive an email notifying you to confirm your information has not changed from the previous registration.

You can check the status of your account by logging in with your client ID number (if you have been issued one) here.

It can take 24 to 48 hours once we have received your medical document and registration application to activate it on your account. If you have not heard from us within 2 business days, please call our Customer Care team at 866-410-4040.

To make changes to your registered account you must complete the Registration Form. This can be found on our Forms-Page.

As cannabis affects each person differently, everyone will have a different ideal dose. Please consult your health care practitioner for guidance. A general rule of thumb when you begin using medical cannabis is “Start low, and go slow”.

We recommend to keep a diary of your experiences, including the strain you used, how you used it, how much you used, and what was the effect on you and your symptoms, including luck of or unwanted effects.

Once you are registered, you are able to begin ordering! You can log in to your online account at www.weedme.ca with your 16 digit client ID number and head to our Shop. Alternatively, you can call one of our Client Care agents to place your order over the phone.

The maximum you may order at one time is 30 times your daily dose (included in your medical document) every 30 days.

The majority of insurance companies require a DIN (Drug Identification Number) in order to be able to reimburse you for your medications. Medical cannabis does not have a DIN number, therefore a lot of companies are not yet covering it.

We advise you to contact your insurance provider for more information, as some companies do offer medical cannabis coverage.

Always consult with your Health Care Practitioner before taking medical cannabis combined with other medications and if you started to use one,  inform ALL your health care providers that you are being treated with cannabis.

Travelling within Canada with your medical cannabis is legal.

It is however, illegal to take cannabis across the Canadian border, whether you are entering or leaving the country. You could be charged with a criminal offence if you try to travel to other countries with any amount of cannabis in your possession. This applies to all countries, whether cannabis is legal there or not.

Whenever you travel, we advise you to bring along a letter from your health care provider outlining your cannabis treatment.

If flying within Canada, please remember that the volume of liquid containers should be under 100 ml (if you are planning to bring along your oils).

The cannabis must be in its original packaging with the appropriate client label and you must have your client ID/registration document with you.

For more information, please see: Canada.Ca

You can claim your sales receipts from your medical cannabis on your income tax return, under Line 330 – Medical expenses for self, spouse or common-law partner, and your dependent children born in 1997 or later.
